    A New Collection

When I was a kid, I had many collections. I collected stamps (I actually just recently found my stamp collecting book amid a bunch of old stuff). I collected shells. I collected pretty rocks. I collected foreign currency. As I moved into my teen years I collected posters of Duran Duran for my bedroom walls, poor study habits, and bad attitudes. Cheers to Not Having a Brain Tumor

So I’ve had a lot of weird stuff going on in my head the past few months. I’ve had this stabbing pain in one specific spot. It started as intermittent but a couple of weeks ago is was all but constant, and that combined with a bunch of other strange stuff resulted in a trip to the doctor which ended with me getting a referral for a CT scan. But I did some retail therapy/birthday shopping on the Torrid website last week so now I have this moto jacket that I am completely in love with, and decided to do the full hair and makeup just for the occasion. I think I still look kinda halfway decent for an old lady. 😁 Hope everyone has a great day, and if history is anything to go by, we will…

    Lego For Seniors

Those Danes are missing out on millions OK, hear me out on this. Lego has played a major role in my life ever since my boys were old enough to snap two bricks together. Throughout their childhoods there was a parade of Lego sets of all sizes and fandoms. They were a go-to gift for Christmas, and every year December 26th marked the takeover of the dining room table as the boys, especially my younger one, joyfully assembled their colorful plastic structures. Completed sets were displayed proudly on bookshelves in their bedrooms until they were dismantled for parts and were dumped into the giant Lego tub, ready for the next…
