Dear Virginia,

I just came home from work, so I thought I would write to you. How has everything been going this week? Please excuse the paper and writing, as I am all out of writing paper.

What do you want to do Saturday? You name it, and we will do it. I was invited to Rochester to some friends of mine for the weekend, but I don’t think I will leave until Sunday morning.

I have not received your letter yet, but I thought I would write just the same. I have another letter to answer this morning besides yours before I can get to bed.

I don’t know if I will be able to make that Halloween Dance. I may have to work nights after all, and a fellow doesn’t feel much like going out after he gets through work at 11:00 P.M. So if I were you I wouldn’t plan too much on it. You had better take a date with someone else for that night.

Well, there is not much to say, for nothing ever happens around here that you would be interested in, so I will close.

Bye,
Love Harry
